To wrap up this semester soon we will be showcasing our Prototype of a system we are thinking of integrating into Haunted House Flipper. The system we are prototyping is a Game Object Management System. For this system we bill be integrating SQL lite into the Unity game engine, as well as mock sets of prefabs. This will allow us to test out our system to see how feasible/modular this set up is.
The purpose of this system is to facilitate easy modifications of our game objects. We foresee this system lighten our load to enable us to produce faster features and effects. Customization will be done within a custom screen(Unity Editor Window). To test tool we’ll have the designers utilize it to see how designer friendly our system is to show us where we should make changes.
